Wellness

Wellness focused Interior Design realizes that residential and commercial spaces can greatly influence our physical health, as well as our emotional state of mind. At Jennifer Pauker Interiors, I strive to transform lives and well being through thoughtful design with aesthetics, performance, beauty, and function. The foundation of this process explores the psychology of the space: how we experience our space on a multi sensory level, to introduce a sense of calm, clarity to the natural world. As we spend more time indoors than ever before, I am committed to the philosophy of strengthening our connection with nature throughout the design process. Incorporating the design sensibilities of Sustainable Design, Biophillia, Neuroaesthetics, and Feng Shui offers the opportunity to create living spaces which nourish our body and mind.

Sustainable Design

Sustainable Design is the intention to reduce or completely eliminate negative environmental impacts through thoughtful designs. Biophillia

Biophilia is defined as the human inclination to connect with nature. The principles which guide Biophillic Design address our visual connections to nature with the use of natural materials. Feng Sui

Originating in Tibet, Feng Sui is the ancient art of creating harmony in your environment through conscious placement and awareness. Feng Shui encompasses the physical form of land, lot, structure, room, the function of the space, and the individual who resides there. Feng Shui uses the five elements of nature - water, wood, fire, earth, and metal, to bring balance and harmony to the energies within the environment.

Smart Home Systems

Many dream of simplifying their hectic daily lives, and with Smart Home Technology, that dream can now become a reality. The beauty of a Smart Home automated system is the ability to tie diverse electronic devices together so they can perform as one unified system. Electronics can now assist with everything from turning on lights, controlling window shades and ventilating spaces, to lighting a fire, and dimming the lights for a cozy evening at home. With commands programmed to your lifestyle, one is able to control home features such as security, temperature, appliances, lighting and entertainment both within the home and outside the home by utilizing voice recognition and remote access. As Smart Home products are integrated into the home in an unobtrusive manner, everyday tasks become seamless.
